@ULT1MATUM For your first request - you can sort by Most Downloaded within each category to get specific. There aren't very many categories, especially if you're not interested in a couple like Vehicles or Paint Jobs. Here's an example link for Scripts: https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/most-downloaded
As for your second request I agree, I'm going to be looking into ways to make the search more advanced. Thanks for the suggestions
Also why not remove all the " latest file " of the main page since as I said it will already the first displayed once you select a category ;P so It could keep the main page for " best mod of the week " or whatever
@LeeC2202 Well I already did as rappo said for important map where it was necessary to give more picture and well i'll keep doing in this way if that not possible to get a higher limit, that not a real matter anyway ;P
I must confess, I use uBlock on pretty much all sites... but even if I turned uBlock off, most ad distribution networks wouldn't get past my HOSTS file anyway. It actually is off for the mods part of this site but on in the forums to quash the signatures... but no ads appear on the mods part of the site because of my HOSTS file.
In cases like this site though, I am able to contribute by creating mods and hopefully driving traffic. My current mod has been on the go for about a month now and most days that's a 6+ hour development and testing session. So I know my time has no monetary value as such but it's something I can give back to the site.
@rappo That would be great. I'd love to see the most downloaded mods that are updated since last month. That way i can see that for example Menyoo has been updated to work with DLC that's been released in said month.
VirusTotal and other sites like it aren't very effective for Script Hook-based mods (in fact, the infamous Angry Planes script came up 100% clean), so they're verified in other ways. That's the reason why you don't see the link on scripts
Got it now, thanks for the clarification @AuthorSaulAlan and @GTA-Motorsport. Changes to forums functionality is a little tough for me because I'm using a public forum system here, but I'll see what I can do.
I did try the fullscreen/kiosk workaround, but that only helped a bit when on using 'desktop mode' in browser (noting i spend a lot of time on a lot of platforms, mobile and desktop). Whatever modification you did to the server-side, definately was a proper fix, and works great
@rappo I see. As variant it could be a cliend sided thing. I don't think someone would make a addon for browser for just people who want to rate file, lol. Anyways, I see your position and understand it. I jsut didn't known this, I'm sure you know better what and how. :3
