@AREA_51 what do you mean by close? That the file can't be edited or that you can't view it? Or do you mean OpenIV crahes? NVM, i realize now your editing the 3d model.

I realized I'm working without a script, so any mistakes in any steps and it's over.
So I created Handling and Vehicles and edited content just to see how this progressing.
Not there yet, but so far the steps seem to be leading us in the right direction.
Taking a break, will post more later.

menyoo, I deleted reshade after I found out menyoo does that without causing problems. My favorite is :

No probs bud, shame it didn't work.
One thing that might be worth trying is downloading all the different dispatch mods you can get your hands on & see if any of them implemented a script to handle more than three VEHICLE_RESPONSE's.
If so, you could probably use their VEHICLE_RESPONSE naming structure & personalise their other assets/functionality to your liking.
If gta5-mods search is ever being funky, try this (change "dispatch" to whatever search term you want)

Hi, @scorpiosd7 , I still haven't had the time to sit down and get a Steam copy of the game but I am planning on doing this next week so I will make sure to give you a shoutout and update the thread with my results!

@sarathsamurai If you're interested in learning how to script, this is very easily done. If not, I think Menyoo can do this, but really not sure.

@ItsJustCurtis In his post he's not talking about the texture files, he's talking about ytd files when extracted becoming .psd files.

This is now clear to me given OpenIV does not offer an option for .psd as an export. OpenIV will not offer .psd to extract a texture, and will not offer any options if you extract the full .ytd file or export to open formats.

What he is describing is that when he extracts a .ytd from OpenIV and saves it (to his desktop for example), the file is now .psd, or at least the extension is now .psd.

I don't understand how that can happen unless he created a file association between ytd and Photoshop.

I doubt the file is .psd, probably still .ytd and if renamed to .ytd would be editable.

Have no idea how this issue was created by OpenIV unless it was Windows:
Edit or Open, Windows ask how, User says Photoshop, WIndows asks "always use this app", User says Yes. - You now have a file association for ytd with Photoshop.

Overall this doesn't make any sense to me. OpenIV does have file associations in its Options, but this has nothing to do with Photoshop and it is only mean to associate a file type with OpenIV, not with any other software. Similarly, there is no option to save textures as psd

I just dropped a solution that worked for me (finally) on AB's GTA5Mods scripthhook page.
Forgot to mention, I use (EPIC) and Modding Launcher with OpenIV.
All Mods working fine including textures I was working on.

(some glitch/change with colour hud) but otherwise all good.
