WIP/betas/alphas/early builds are fine, but make sure your description is clear and describes what still needs improvement, so people know what to expect.

Once you delete the mods using the Delete link, they are unpublished -- completely hidden from the public. Mods are usually permanently deleted every 3 months.

I think moderator actions, like mod rejections and user bans, should be a little more descriptive. "this ain't it" isn't exactly clear. What should have been said is what you are saying now: rejected due to a deficiency in quality.
