Having Problems Installing Convertible Car (Replace)

Anyone know how to install a convertible car correctly?
Every time I try to install a convertible car (with functioning roof), there are always random bugs like the roof won't work, or it works, but it's the old roof, or the character falls through the floor, or my car flies up in the air (yes, this happened, the car just started to fly straight up with no stopping)
I may just replace convertibles with regular solid roof cars

@forter4 There aren't many convertible mods with a properly functioning roof, I've seen only one actually. What mod did you download?

@forter4 Well, you've downloaded the one I said above. I have the add-on version of that, the roof functions smoothly. Have you changed the handling, vehicles meta and other files you should change according to the ReadMe ?

@forter4 And if you replace a vanilla convertible with a non convertible mod, the vehicle will be bugged. There's a line in vehicles or handling.meta to disable the roof opening animation, unfortunately I don't remember it. Hopefully someone will post it here.

Yea, I changed it according to the readme, but I'm new to modding (kinda getting the hang of it) so I most likely effed it up lol

And thanks for the tip on the replacing of the convertible cars with regular cars. I'll try to find the steps to disable the roof opening animation. I replaced the Carbonizzare with the 488 GTB and I just don't try opening the roof lol...seems to be working fine for now

you don't want the animations when replacing? just simply delete these lines in vehicles.meta:
<animConvRoofDictName>null</animConvRoofDictName> <animConvRoofName>null</animConvRoofName> <animConvRoofWindowsAffected />

@V4D3R I managed to install the Ferrari California mod I linked above! I replaced Michael's wife's Sentinel with it and it works perfectly!
@ReNNie Thanks for pointing out the lines for the convroof. Knowing that, I changed the Sentinel's lines to the Carbonizzare's and it works perfectly. As for the regular Carbonizzare I replaced with the Ferrari 488 GTB (read: no convertible roof), I just changed the lines to match a car without a convertible roof, and not deleting it entirely and it worked!
