Add-Ons not working since latest update
-
Every time I install an Add-On, it never appears in my game. I checked everything in all of my Add-Ons and so far no typos or programming errors. Everything has been installed correctly: named in dlcpacks, listed in dlclist.xml, everything required has been done in order to install the mod.
Does anyone have a way to fix this. This shit is pissing me off, I just want my mods, not a busted-ass game.

@krashadam Get a new gameconfig...
-
@DarthPungz I'll try this tomorrow, thanks in advance.
-
@DarthPungz Nope, didn't work.
Not the only time I've been given a gameconfig that's said to fix my game. I'll try the old gameconfig that was included in the file, but later, because I'm not in the mood to try and polish the same turd like I already have been for 2 years.
-
@krashadam I know it is frustrating... I had a problem a couple updates ago... I had to use a 0.5 PED and 0.5 traffic game config... I know some people who have done a lot of replacement vehicles have had problems also... Maybe u can remove all add-ons then get it working, then put them back one at a time until you hit the wall?
In any event I do hope that you get this figured out. When you do please post a follow up to let us know what you did.
-
@DarthPungz Well, I did use an old mods folder, but mainly because I didn't want to bust my balls just getting everything to work again.
I'm going to attempt to use the new updated update and x64 folder. After all, they already have everything there. (I only have 4 folders, I may be missing critical dlc.rpfs, now that you mentioned it.
I'll come and comment here again when I get it working.
-
@DarthPungz Uh, is it normal that an untouched dlclist.xml has NULL comments at the bottom last bit where the SMandatoryPacks is?
-
@DarthPungz Turns out that null data is stopping the game from launching. I'm going to try and patch it myself.
-
@DarthPungz Erased the null bits and still corrupt data. (ERR_FILE_PACK3)
-
@krashadam One of your vehicles.rpf file (in all custom addons u have installed) is more than 4.0GB. Defragment the rpf to fix it.
-
@AHK1221 I mentioned null bits in the dlclist, this I wanna know about.
-
@AHK1221 So I just tried to open my update.rpf just now, and it's... corrupt? It wasn't 3 days ago...
-
Well, I refreshed the update folder, reinstalled my car mods. Got my 1996 Roadmaster, just not my 58 Fury.
I also lost my graphics mods. Yay... still things to fix.
EDIT: Typo in the dlclist. Fixed, and got my Christine!
Keep a knockin' but you can't come in...
