How to edit/mod taillights?

Hi everybody,
can someone direct me to which files contain the information about the taillight and how they look on the roads?
I just recently installed the "LA Roads" on my GTA and was amazed by how great it looked.
But in driving around and looking at the roads, I noticed that they way tail lights shine on the roads look rather strange (at least to me).
I don't know if this has been since vanilla or just appeared with the LA Roads mod.
I checked the visualsettings.dat but there I can only find settings for headlights... The few "tail lights" options I do see are not what I'm looking for.I also attached a picture of what I mean. I would rather have it at a slight angle (similar to the headlights)I hope someone can point me at the right direction (:
