Mods Folder Question

Hi There! Got a goofy question. Can all mods be put in the mods folder? I haven't modded GTA V in a while, and I play the Online portion as well now. So can any mod be put in there? I don't remember if they can or not.

Script mods, ENB,Reshade, those mods should be put in the main GTA folder. Any mod which changes original game files should go to the mods folder. Eg- add-on/replace vehicles
