FIRST DETAILS AND SCREENS FOR GTA ONLINE: GUNRUNNING

While sharply dressed CEOs trade Special Cargo from lavish air conditioned suites, and leather-clad Bikers own the roadways moving illicit consumer goods; new opportunities are opening in a highly lucrative and equally malicious network hidden underground ripe for takeover by the VIPs, CEOs, and Biker bosses of Los Santos and Blaine County.

UNDERGROUND BUNKERS, MOBILE OPERATIONS CENTERS AND WEAPONIZED VEHICLES

    alt text

To thrive as an arms dealer in GTA Online: Gunrunning, it’s going to take more than street smarts. Choose your supporting vehicles and armaments wisely for your best chance to outwit both the feds and any rival dealers. Start moving weapons to eager buyers in Los Santos or Blaine County to earn a tidy profit and tap into powerful new upgrades, modifications and heavy duty weaponry. Here’s a deeper look at just a few of the potent new tools at your disposal in Gunrunning.
    alt text

Everything begins with a Bunker: the massive, underground hub of your new enterprise. Any CEO, VIP or MC President can jump start their promising career from here to get operations off the ground.
    alt text

For heavy duty tactical operations on the move, arms dealers can invest in a Mobile Operations Center (MOC), the kind of powerful support usually enjoyed only by trained assassins or rogue nuclear states. Storable in your Bunker, this drivable command center’s modular construction allows for tailored combinations of vehicle workshop, weapons workshop, luxury living quarters, and command center – with facilities for upgrading and customizing your arsenal and modifying Weaponized Vehicles (including turrets for your MOC that can be manned by your squad) – all at your fingertips, and pulled by a fully customizable commercial semi.
    alt text

Weaponized Vehicles are a brand new class to stock and customize. Build a fleet to cover every eventuality: from the ultimate utility of the fully amphibious, canon-toting APC, to a mobile anti-aircraft trailer that’ll have pilots soiling their cockpits across the state. Weaponized Vehicles can also be employed as company assets instrumental in delivering cargo to any drop-off.
    alt text

Beyond manufacturing your stock to sell, reap the benefits of your Bunker’s white coat staff by allocating their time to Research and they’ll get busy unlocking a range of optional upgrades including unique personal weapon modifications, a whole range of brutal tech for your Weaponized Vehicles, and terrifying upgrades for your Mobile Operations Center.

Of course all of this will be available through mods for GTA Offline, I don't think that should be said, but who knows XD

@Reyser haha so rockstar is finally catching up with me :P I hope they made ground to air missile lock available :) that way my avenger hummer and crab 4x4 would become more effective . and we can have even more better vehicles in gta 5, I hope they didn't include some new shader or something to delay is getting those cars into zmodeler3 .

    Thanks @Reyser

    Edit : do I see an armed boat there? @SkylineGTRFreak :P @nathanjamesddg151

  • MODERATOR

@FoxtrotDelta I hope too :D Can't wait to see which type of military vehicles using the new features will you guys convert to V <3

  • MODERATOR

@Reyser if limitations are removed sky is the limit :) I have all sorts of models .

    @Reyser thanks a lot !

  • Well, at least I can now make my amphibious LAV-25s have sound xD

But Please Rockstar... GIB HUNTER PLZ!

  • I can see why these content won't be able to single player, I mean in SP it's just you who's playing in a world of NPCs. All the action related stuff are limited to missions, and after completing the story, the game becomes boring as hell if you don't use mods. Playing against human opponents is always more fun, though I won't play GTA Online ever. :)

  • MODERATOR

@V4D3R It could be available at SP with mods, but as you've said it will be more boring that if playing in GTA Online. Anyway's always appreciated to have new content like that in SP too :P

  • @Reyser A bunch of new vehicles won't make SP interesting one bit, new missions, locations on the other hand, will. I would just love to have something like "EFLS".

  • Finally a reason to finish my Wiesel 2 Ozelot :P

  • MODERATOR

@SkylineGTRFreak @FoxtrotDelta yeah, but Rockstar is probably still gonna screw with us regarding amphibious vehicle class audio, so I don't see how this is any better than import export, except it sounds interesting.

  • MODERATOR

@nathanjamesddg151 we don't know that yet. be optimistic

  • MODERATOR

@V4D3R I just want the new R* vehicles because they help modders like SkylineGTRFreak to add weapon abilities to their ships and this kind of features to their mods.

Obviously new missions or locations (expanded map or buildings like Casino working) are a priority to make SP more interesting.

I'm not using any of the game vehicles since there are mods :D

  • MODERATOR

    @Reyser i agree.

  • @V4D3R I got the PC version of GTAV about three months ago. I have every single item that's a "online only" feature including cars, clothes, apartments, garages, biker clubs, ceo offices, etc. I also have the ability to spawn any of those vehicles and I can also play ALL of the same online free-mode missios/activities and all the ones that have long since disappeared like the destroy the car/bike, and bank trucks. I can have up to 7 NPC go on and help me in all the missions/activities and don't have to worry about little twurps in freemode online.

Get a PC and get GTAV. Modding is really easy and lots of fun!

  • MODERATOR

@vendetta1969 I hope you just didn't invite all people to using mods in online mode, cuz that's against this website guidelines and rules.

Please clearify your above comment , it can easily be , mis-understood. Mods in online mode are cheating and that's not allowed to be advertised or even discussed on this website.

I understand that you are talking about online stuff being used in single player that's okay, but if people think you are talking about mods in online mode that's wrong .

Yeah, I bought GTA V back in 2015. You don't have to tell me how fun it is to mod it. :stuck_out_tongue:

  • @vendetta1969 How do you have all of that in SP? nobody made a CEO mod for SP yet along with some other things you mentioned

  • @SkylineGTRFreak said in New GTA Online DLC: GUNRUNNING:

    FEED MEH HUNTAH!!!

  • MODERATOR

@Biggdogg this is the topic I was talking about.

  • @FoxtrotDelta didn't see it hahaha

  • MODERATOR

@Biggdogg this will enable us to make new armed vehicles and boats , I'm making a usa and Chinese navy frigates too. After I'm done with priority donation mods.

  • Sounds good

  • These tampas look like Menyoo mods

But I'm interested in the APC and Halftrack. The bunkers may be interesting too

  • Am I the only one genuinely upset by this update? I mean don't get me wrong, to each their own, but I honestly feel that Rockstar has entirely ditched everything that made GTA GTA.

We've always had stuff that was over-the-top, but I feel like this is more of an off-brand Saints Row game now. We've lost our gangster ways, and have had less and less incentive to be gangsters. As of this update, that'll be totally out the window (if it wasn't already). At this point there is absolutely no immersion to the game at all.

Sure, the updates always have something cool in them, but it's always something even more game-breaking. GTA:O is an unplayable mess unless you're just "following the trend" at this point, so to speak.

  • @iRideIndependent I agree with you, unfortunately its all about the money now. Still clinging onto false hope for a single player dlc but meh. The game is excellent dont get me wrong but it has soo much potential and its a bit disappointing how they basically thought fuck it.
