Both of these mods fail to download:

And when I click on the start download link on the "Your download will begin shortly. If it does not start automatically, please click here to start the download immediately. " line

@LeeC2202 I just noticed that. It seems that after approving a mod the file isn't anymore available to download, don't know why. @FoxtrotDelta Do you have the same problem?

@stillhere That was the other one I tried that made me think it was all mods... it must just happen to be the ones I picked out of all those mods. No wonder I never win the lottery.

@LeeC2202 That's not the problem. Before we approve the mods, they can be downloaded to check they're valid files (following site rules), but it seems that after approved they change their file to the main site link, so nothing can be downloaded. It seems to be a problem we all are facing.

@Reyser you are right, there is a bug. once we approve a mod the file name changes to F.
so don't approve anything furthur , i unapproved all of those reported. thanks to @LeeC2202

@LeeC2202 I wrote up a report about this earlier, then the downloads worked for me so I didn't bother. Seems like it's still a problem though.

if that's correct. you must win lots of lotteries. i call that luck.
Plus. we have suspended all mod approvals since approving a mod is causing system to forget the file path. so we won't approve any , until its fixed or we hear from admins. Thanks for prompt report.

Yeah but bad luck. I once had a problem with faulty RAM packs for my ZX81 a very long time ago. After getting two faulty ones, I stood in the shop with the saleswoman and she said "We've just had 50 delivered, you choose one" and I chose the only faulty one in the whole batch.
My version of a 50/50, is a one-in-two chance of getting it wrong and a one-in-two chance of not getting it right.
As the French would say, C'est la vie.

@LeeC2202 I wonder how many people here can honestly say they owned a ZX81 when they first came out? Actually Iwonder how many people here know what one is. I had one then I "upgraded" to an Atari 800xl the next year.

@krissboo I got mine in 1982. I was 18 at the time, running an amusement arcade at the time and someone offered me one. That was my first step on the computing ladder. Fun times...

@LeeC2202 Sounds cool, I was only 7 when i got mine lol. I never really got into the coding side of things but it was my introduction into gaming for sure. But as you say fun times
