Need Help Installing add-on Planes

Hi guys, I probably seem like a bit of an idiot but i just can't figure out how to install add-on plane mods. I have half figured out add-on cars as their are many YouTube tutorial but for planes I cant find any. Yes, i know every download comes with an installation guide, but even when I do everything it says i must do, it still doesn't seem to work. Some help would be much appreciated, either in helping me out or maybe linking a tutorial you know of for add-on planes. Thanks so much for the help!

@benjaminprice24 You install them the same way you install add-on cars, the folder that includes the "dlc.rpf" file goes into "\update\x64\dlcpacks" and you need to add "<Item>dlcpacks:\DLCNAME</Item>" to the "dlclist.xml" file located in "\update\update.rpf\common\data"

@Carrythxd yeah I've been doing every step but when i go put the name in simple trainer it says 'invalid model'... hmm strange, anyway thanks for the help

did you add the ExtraTitleUpdateData and dlclist.xml?

@Quakex64 yep i've done all the steps they ask but it just keeps saying invalid model. So far the only vehicles i can get are ones that replace previous ones, and i've only gotten the BMW i8 to be an add-on otherwsie nothing else has worked

well all I know is I followed steps exactly on how to make and install "add-on" vehicles, it worked before and I have no other clue why other than I need a modified gameconfig to allow for more cars.... you might need that too

@benjaminprice24 Hi, I figured out why mine wouldn't spawn either. I did the 300 car add on config and also have to have a ini file from notepad into the gta5 game folder. Like for Shuttle carrier add on its exactly like:
[Shuttlecarrier_Keys]
Shuttlecarrier_Key=sca
Just have to change the name of the model and the key model. In order to create the ini file just go to notepad and saveas .ini I finally got mine to work. About time.

Also place the folder in the dlc pack where the add on folder is located.

@Cliffjumper2012 so with the modified gameconfig, you were able to get your cars to work ? Like I said, I have followed the instructions down to the last folder, now my dlc name has a capital letter and there is no other DLC pack or patch that has an uppercase letter in it.. Does that even make a difference?

extratitleupdatedata is not required for vehicle mods, don't touch it.
