I can't seem to get the mod working
-
Hey everyone,
I've checked up with the .NET Framework version (mine is 4.6 something) and I can't seem to get the iron man mod working. At first, I have installed OpenIV and then installed the script as in the instruction.
Then, I noticed that I forgot to install the scripthookV and scripthookdotNet, so I downloaded them and installed as the instructions in the youtube videos.Every time I start the game (story mode) and I press CTRL + N, nothing happens (just the push to talk thing)...
Any recommendations on this?
Thanks

@bar09 In your GTA V installation directory, there should be a file called scripthookvdotnet.log. If it is not there, then ScripthookVDotNet is not installed properly. If it is there, open it with a text editor and check if there are any errors, and post it here.
Be sure you are using the left Ctrl key when attempting to open the NIB menu.

@stillhere
Thanks for the ultra quick response, here is the log in the file:[18:31:55] [DEBUG] Created script domain 'ScriptDomain_D2B371A0' with v2.9.6.
[18:31:55] [DEBUG] Loading scripts from 'F:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\scripts' into script domain 'ScriptDomain_D2B371A0' ...

@bar09 According to the log, there is/are no scripts in the scripts folder. Show us your scripts folder, please?
-
There are no scripts inside the script folder, they are stored in a sub folders inside scripts folder.
-
@bar09 Inside the script folder should also be some DLL files, mainly the NIB menu and the Ironman dll.
-
This is the log after launching the game (copied the filed from previous comment to scripts folder)
(ScriptHoodV log, not the dot net)Anyways, I don't see the DLL filed anywhere (not the NIB menu and not the ironman dll)
The only one I have are .ini files.Where can I get those DLL files?
EDIT #2:
Found the download for the sourse (NIB Menu), I'm trying and update
-
@bar09 JulioNIB's mods are only offered through his patreon right now for a fee. I assume there are other ways but we are not allowed to post other links here that go against the author's wishes.

@stillhere Thanks.
I just wanted to know why I couldn't even see the menu, so what I needed was the menu dll file, which I now have.Although, I still cannot see the mods inside the menu, they are inside the scripts folder.
-
@bar09 besides the Ironman dll file, there is also an Ironman file with a ".nibmod" extension, which belongs in the script folder as well. Without it the menu does not know that the Ironman mod exists.
-
@stillhere There is also a NIBMods.dll which handles menus and stuff. That is why a single menu can access all his mods.
-
@AHK1221 Yeah, apparently he has it now, just missing the Ironman dll, from what I understand.
Btw have you seen my implementation of the same idea?
-
@stillhere I think I got all the information mixed.
I have downloaded the iron man mark V from this website but I didn't know that I would need an additional
dll file which cost money.
I'm not gonna pirate this mod, but I thought that this was enough to use the mod.Anyways, if this is why I can't start this mod well then...
Is there anywhere I can get the dll file without paying a monthly fee? like a one time fee?Thank you guys for the help so far!!
-
@stillhere Yes I did, it's actually a pretty good idea. Maybe you and @LeeC2202 can work together to create a good looking, reliable and fast menu with the features this one has?
-
@bar09 I'm not 100% sure of this, but he does release his mods on weekends so you can grab them. At least, that is what I've heard.
-
@bar09 Ahh I see, that makes complete sense. If @AHK1221 heard right, that would be something to look out for.
AHK, I'd love it if I were able to use Lee's menu, but he said he isn't completely satisfied with it to open it up to the public right now. Unless he said otherwise, I don't want to bother him about it! But thanks to him he has indirectly led me to write my own menu which I hope to improve!
