Railgun to pistol?

Is it possible to make a pistol shoot like a railgun, with the pistol's fire frequency, but with railgun sounds? Cause I wanna use a pistol as star lord's blaster :3

You can replace the railgun with your weapon to the directory in x64w.rpf/dlcpacks/spupgrade/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/weapons.rpf
