How to run OpenIV again temp fix
-
(If this is not allowed, please remove it and/or tell me and I'll remove it)
Just press Uninstall Later. It will continue to work normally.
-
@AHK1221 i guess it can stay for now.
-
@FoxtrotDelta Thanks.
-
Blocking OpenIV's internet connection using the firewall works fine for me.
-
@Unknown-Modder thanks
-
@Unknown-Modder Didn't work for me, and as @sollaholla reported, it didn't work for others as well. This is also for people who have bricked OpenIVs (thus why I provide the download)
-
@Unknown-Modder can you tell me exactly how I read on google its kinda confusing to me. I unchecked it in the firewall but theres no openiv in outbound rules
-
@AHK1221 I still have mine open. did they brick them just now?????
-
@westcoastsosa If you have automatic updates on, TURN IT OFF. After that, you can just disable internet and run openiv, and then enable internet again. You can try that firewall route, it didn't work for me, thus this thread.
-
@westcoastsosa yes, if u opened, u r fucked. add the program in outbound rules and block connection
-
@Akram Not neccessarily if you haven't updated it.
-
@westcoastsosa https://www.howtogeek.com/112564/how-to-create-advanced-firewall-rules-in-the-windows-firewall/
-
NOD32 is a good anti-virus / NOD32 End Point Security.
You can use that, and set it to interactive mode.
-
@westcoastsosa yeah mine is still open too...is it getting bricked?
-
I have this error
-
@krissboo Like I said, turn off automatic updates and then you can add a rule into the firewall like @Unknown-Modder suggested.
-
@ULT1MATUM Oh sh*t.
-
@ULT1MATUM There are two Apps folder. The folder that you copied needs to overwrite the previous one. Send me a screenshot of your current OpenIV setup?
-
@AHK1221 I couldn't uncheck the option to turn auto update off as it was greyed out and ticked already. But I have created a rule in eset firewall so it's all good. Just got to make sure I do the same for gtav.exe lol
-
Can't access GTA V files now, it keeps loading and never ends.
R.I.P
-
I contacted Take Two, be patient...
-
@Loppy And this helps anyone how?
-
Locking this topic openiv works for now, just click uninstall later.
@AHK1221 thanks buddy.
