[Vehicle] (W.I.P.) 1965/66 Pontiac Full-size Package Mod 2.0

  • @John-Lemon Great, that you decide to make these scratch made models. Just keep practice and you can make some perfect models.

  • @Yarm1995 Thanks Yarm! I really enjoyed seeing this model come together!

  • I'm add mirrors

  • @Yarm1995 Looks amazing! I want to drive it in GTA now! ;p

  • @John-Lemon But i cant promise soon, at least after finishing my Monte Carlo, it is ok?

  • @Yarm1995 I've got other projects to fry anyway. I just ask that you get it done within reason (I mean don't hold on to it for years and then say "Oh I lost it, guess you're Shit out of luck!") Take a break if you need it and come back to it when you're ready

  • @John-Lemon I'm going to finish it, so dont worry

  • @Yarm1995 Cool

  • Here's a side project I was working on based on the Catalina, I don't really plan to export it to GTA, but I would if people wanted it

  • UPDATE 10#: Here's another pair of Pontiac Fullsizes, 2 Door Post Car and the Grand Prix. If you're wondering how I crank these out so fast, it's because I have no life (Kidding, I've been very busy lately and finding time to do this project is hard)

  • @Yarm1995 are you interested in doing more body styles? because I'd like to a whole bunch of ideas and I don't want to burn you out doing this project. If you're not interested in do anymore, I'll find someone else to help so you can work on other stuff

  • @John-Lemon At least i need to finish hardtop and convertible, but if difference in these body styles not too significant, for my convinience you can take hardtop like a base, and send to me only that parts, that will be different from hardtop.

  • @Yarm1995 Most of the differences are body based, so you can use most of the work from the hardtop and use it on the other models. I'll send you the ones that I've done so far (The 4 door Convertible, Death Trap, 2 door Post and the Grand Prix) and you can tell me what's up

  • @John-Lemon Ok, i got them

  • @Yarm1995 Kool, anything thing you've done lately? I haven't seen you update your Monte lately, how's that going?

  • @John-Lemon I'm little busy at new job, but its not means that i stopped my projects, i release all, that i currently started (Monte Carlo, Catalina hardtop and convertible). Just take a look at my previous WIP topics, and you see how much time it can take, but after all i release it :)

  • @Yarm1995 I don't mean to be rude, but I was wondering, where are you at with the Catalina Project?

  • @John-Lemon Working on materials and normals

  • Coming Soon to Releases & Works in Progress (As it's own project)

  • UPDATE 11: I'm getting a bit bored of this project, not because I don't want to model (As you can see above), but because it no longer excites me anymore. When I start I wrote list what I was going to do.

"My goals are four 2 door models: Convertible, Post, Hardtop and Custom Station Wagon. Four 4 door models: Station Wagon, Sedan, Hardtop and Continental style Convertible. Both the 1965 model and 1966 too, but yet another step further would a low rider mod for the car!"

I have come up with more ideas for the project since a month ago, but I don't like making four doors and so I don't know if I'm going to do them. I've completed all the 2 door models (I just have to work out the LODs for the 2 door wagon, can be done in an hour). But for the four door models, I have the Continental convertible done, mostly completed station wagon, a very early hardtop and haven't started the sedan

As for the 66' model, I will be doing that one, but not for the wagons (Different rear tail panels)

Here's what I've got done since I last updated

  • All this stuff look realy sweet can't wait for new old school cars :)

  • UPDATE 12#: Modeling the Impala is done, I just got to do the LODs and the modeling is done

  • I see plenty of holes on the mesh joints and grille pic, is it intended?

  • @GreenAid grill, yes. Joints, no, I look into that

  • Kk. I was referring to this btw: 0_1501334041241_upload-2ceb7e21-d73b-49b1-875f-b04a09e7f186
