    - Updates:

    • 22 Jun 2017 -> ScriptHookV updated to 1.0.1103.2 game version and OpenIV updated, removing the Uninstall message.
    • 28 Jun 2017 -> OpenIV can now be downloaded again from it's official website.
    • 04 July 2017 -> OpenIV Team made an statement.
    • 04 Sept 2017 -> ScriptHookV updated to 1.0.1180.2 game version.

    ADITIONAL INFORMATION:
    If someone needs an older GTA V Launcher.exe or Social Club Setup.exe version or you want to know how many and which versions of the game were released since the start of the GTA V life, take a look here.

    This may be helpful for people who installed the latest update and wants to revert back. If for some reason when reverting back from a backup you can't play because the game and/or the Social Club versions aren't correct together, you can download an old one from there.

    Also, if you still didn't update your game and you want to be able to play avoiding the game from updating when launched while waiting for a new ScriptHookV version, use GTAVLauncher ByPass tool by @Unknown-Modder. I use it since the GUNRUNNING update and works perfect.

    If you use GTA V from Steam you'll need to do some other things to prevent it from updating your game before using the tool. I have a retail copy so I can't help there.

    Now please, avoid to create new topics related to ScriptHookV or OpenIV. This one should be the source for everyone. Other topics about the same will be removed automatically.

    Do not unpin this topic, we'll try to keep this one as general unlocked topic about ScriptHookV and OpenIV.

  • Supposedly the rumor is Rockstar is being extremely insistent to Take2 to have a compromise with the OpenIV development team to return it to the modding community. Saw this on Facebook, Twitter and another site but don't remember where.

    Too early for that. We still don't know exactly what is going on. At least wait until we hear it from GooD himself.

  • @MrGTAmodsgerman yeah I agree. the steam review should stand to remember the developpers that we exist and that mod have an important positiv impact on their game till they don't attack modder.
    All we want is the ability to mod the solo with OpenIV or an official modding tool ( if really openIV wasn't secure for their shity online then they could at least work together to complete and secure the modding tool)

    @Cyron43 I use F7YO's config, https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-5-gameconfig-300-cars. tried Game68240 's config and my game won't even boot. I need to consolidate DLC's, that's for sure. what I am getting is a clr.dll error every 3rd or 4th boot. updated to net framework 4.7, still the same issue. idk, may give this a try.

    @KingsixIII I think we both have the same issue. All my Add-Ons were working at the same time before the update, but then I can't use all, just some or my game won't load. That's probably because with the latest update they've introduced a lot new vehicles/weapons and that reduced our space for Add-Ons.

    The problem is how much vehicles no how much folders, I've already tested this.

    I know for a fact I have too many folders. ultimately I'd like to have only 2-3 extra folders ( above what R* gave us ). I'll accomplish this after I learn how to add _mods folders to different DLC's . haven't figured that one out yet.



  • @Reyser check out the add-on folders with custom weapons, those caused my crashes (weapon.meta). After I removed them I could play the game and I still have more than 20 add-on folders in the dlcpack-folder with 200+ add-on vehicles

    @kingle92 Nice idea, never thought about it (but will be sad if it's the problem :( ). I'll try it and get back.

    EDIT: I don't use Add-On weapons, but I replaced most of the original in a weapons.rpf located at update.rpf/x64/path/cdimages/ path. It will count as an Add-On?



  • @Reyser I mean custom weapons for vehicles. Those caused my crashes. I don't know if add-on weapons (you mean rifles, I guess) will cause a problem too, as I don't have add-on weapons :D

    @kingle92 So you mean the custom weapons of the lastest game update?



  • @Reyser I mean before the Update I had some planes/vehicles with custom weapons installed. Obviously those custom weapons don't work with the latest patch anymore (at least for me). I then deleted the ". meta" - files that contained those custom weapons. Then the game loaded properly. The only thing is, that those vehicles don't have weapons anymore.

    Thats just a guess, but it worked for me.

    @kingle92 Oh I see. Well that's not my problem (yet), my problem seems to be related to the amount of vehicles installed, but it makes no sense to me, I'm using the latest gameconfig by F7YO.

    Anyway I didn't finish my tests, so I'll share here if I find the problem.



  • @Reyser you could try my gameconfig. I edit more areas in the gameconfig then F7YO or anyones gameconfig. Kicuado uses my gameconfig over F7YOs he can get more cars in with my gameconfig over F7s. I still have to update it again tonight with more folders to allow even more cars. I do multiple folders since everyones game is different depending on what mods they have.

    @kingle92 @Willief23 Found the problem. Wasn't the amount of vehicles, the problem was the sames as what @kingle92 said in his last comment, the weapon.meta files... so I guess we should wait for @SkylineGTRFreak, @FoxtrotDelta and others to update their data files :P

  • @meimeiriver i have part of it up already but the rest of the folders plus some more new ones will be uploaded when i get off work. So around 4.5-5 hours from now.
