Know a mod where pedestrians don't instantly die?

I am looking for a mod where if I shoot someone in a non fatal area, they won't die straight away or soon after. I like the idea if I shoot someone in the leg, they fall to the ground in agony, but don't die. Or if I shoot them in the arm, they just won't use that arm?
Does such a mod exist or something similar? If you can think of any mod that stops NPC's from dying so quickly, please let me know.

@Kelphy There are two mods that prevent the ped insta-death "feature":

This method simply deletes the "dying on the floor" animation (i.e. Writhe animation).
