Dark theme
-
I've seen a lot of forums/sites beginning to do this, but it'd be nice to have a dark theme for the site (a togglable feature). Also, it'd be easier on my eyes
-
@TobsiCred lol.
-
@sollaholla Perhaps the new site owners could just keep on hiding everything like they've done with the comments on the main page!! That's literally putting things in the dark
Joking aside, I'd love a dark theme for this site.

We're on it
As for the dark theme, I agree it's a good idea. Not sure we have the time to implement it right now but we'll stick it on the to-do list.
-
@Dark0ne It's cool, I was kinda joking...but I do have to stop and think where the comments have gone for a second - just gotta get used to it
-
Very understandable.
-
haha I've actually been running a dark theme for a while now, the green also got a bit much for me after visiting daily.
Its not perfect, but its a lot easier on the eyes
-
@GTAJunkies Now that I like
-
@krissboo If you install the Stylish Plugin for either Chrome or Firefox, I am having to share my CSS over ride code, so you can have the same look, until 5mods sort out an official one
-
@GTAJunkies Woah do you not have a gap between the profile and version info? It's been annoying me for some time...
-
@sollaholla No I've removed that gap and the title gap using display:none via CSS override also

That gap is where the ad is, so I assume you're using an adblocker. It should be trivial for you to remove that gap yourself using your adblocker!
-
@Dark0ne No, I used ad-blocker for the example. I did remove the ad using the google ads buttons on the top-right of the ad area, and the gap was still visible. It's not a big deal though, you've done great so far, keep it up.
-
@sollaholla Haha thanks.
Your adblocker should have the ability to block specific elements on a site (any elements, not just ads). So all you need to do is block the element that's causing that gap (a div, probably) and the gap will be gone for you!
It's not something we need to "fix" as such, as it isn't broken for people not using adblockers, but it's certainly something you can fix yourself with minimal effort
-
@Dark0ne Oh, nice! I didn't even know you could do that. However, I allow ads on here because I think the site deserves it.
BTW when I saw the "version info" thing I was super happy, because it's something I've always wanted. I appreciate that you do so much work for the webpage, dude.
-
@sollaholla thanks a lot, I appreciate your kind words considering the recent...negativity...from some areas of the community
-
@Dark0ne Maybe I'm just less critical, idk. Just take the hate with a grain of salt, and keep an ear out for what the community wants, but you probably don't need me to tell you that though.
