[SP] Game Freezing up | "GTA V has stopped repsonding" Error

My game would load into singleplayer (meaning i would've been able to walk around the spawn area), and it would freeze up for a solid 10-15 seconds, and the classic error mesasage that says "GTA V has stopped responding"
Any help, amigos?

edit: I have a lot of addon cars and I've changed the gameconfig.xml file a few times to try and get it to work. No cigar

@IGamer I had the same issue, I uninstalled all my mods and reinstalled one by one. Found that Simple Fuel was causing the crash. There is a new update for it but I haven't installed it yet. Hopefully this is what your running into.
