[VEHICLE]2017 Presidential State Car (Cadillac One a.k.a. The Beast)

Alright folks, I guess we finally have it... Been waiting on the Cadillac One since like... forever. Even for IV we only ever had the old DTS (which wasn't that great anyway, but...). Well, I have just recently acquired a newly released model of the presidential state car from Humster3D (thanks to @Elope ). Worry not, I have paid extra to get a game optimized mesh, so I don't have to bring a whopping 800k poly model into the game.
The model itself features the exterior with wheels, seperated doors and low detailed interior. The model is well made with clean geometry (my first Hum3D model).
So, here is my project plan:
-Implement an engine (probably gonna use some generic GM or Escalade parts, nothing too fancy)
-Detailed interior(dasboard) (again, probably gonna use Escalade as reference)
-Realistic wheel textures (done)
-Baggage compartment
-Texturize the lights and emblems (done)
-Some minor undercarriage model/texturing (suspension parts, exhaust, things like that)
-Merge HQ model parts (emblems, wheel, grille) with gameready model (done)
-UV mapping (template and dirt mapping on 2nd UV chanel) (done)
-Teargas launchers
-Sirens
-LODsHowever, I am still stuck in my exams phase, so don't expect this to be finished within the next 3 weeks. I just thought I'd to create this thread to let people know I'm on it before someone else perhaps goes and also pays for the model, which would be quite... unfortunate.
PLEASE NOTE: This is the 2017 ersion, which is not in proper service yet. This one has more modern lights and Cadillac design cues than the one still used by Obama.

@SkylineGTRFreak just a piece of advice, since this car is unique, you should replace the random San Andreas plate with a Washington DC plate. Google should get you the exact number used on the plate. EDIT: Just Googled it, the license plate appears to be numbered 800-002.

A notable part of the article is that it will have an interior that will resemble something like this

If you could integrate something like that, in the limo it would be really cool!

@nathanjamesddg151 To be honest, since this is a game and people might like to have it as a generic mob limo or whatever, I think it'd be best to either:
A ) Have a version with a GTA plate and a pre-set DC plate, or
B ) Have both plates available as extras

@nathanjamesddg151 good thinking. Although the SS has at least 5 different ones (at least I saw 5 different ones in Hannover), so maybe make the plate as multi livery or so...
@wlupoli that interior certainly looks cool, I like the skylight. Althought I kinda doubt that the presidential one would be as... fancy.

@SkylineGTRFreak that interior can be taken from a vip business jet in fsx. I'll have a look for it. Once im back home. It does look great, i do wonder where does the tear gas fire from?

@nathanjamesddg151 probably not. Maybe don't have a sunroof because that defeats the purpose of armoring the car because well (JFK) but if the rest could be incorporated that would be cool

Aww yiss, are you going to use some handling/vehicles.meta that makes it a proper armored car? Kinda tired of the fuel tanks leaking on these stock armored cars ^^'

@ikt it's easy to do that. Just go to the vehicles.meta page and handling.meta page in the gta v modding wiki and they tell you how to do that. If you look at my CIT mod and my LSSV mod they have proper armoring to withstand multiple sticky bombs

@FoxtrotDelta I think there are no official infos, but it's said that the launchers are located under the front bumper. I also tried making a rearward firing smoke grenade (which works) which shoots out of the cadillac emblem (emblem pops up, grenade comes out). I tried using the APCs SAM launcher flaps to make the emblem Open, but no luck so far.
@Yarm1995 the model came with around 75k polies. I have since merged the HQ emblems, grilles and wheels into this and now it's around 100k

@TigerIA45000 don't know, but at least I am now pretty much through with everything considering exams, so I can pick up some modding-related work again.
To give a little update: I have done some work on the engine and interior, but nothing too serious. However I do have to shift focus on some other things first.

hm, I have made the teargas and smoke grenades work, but the interior needs lots of work. I'll be on vacation starting next wednesday and I doubt it'll be finished before that. Mi-26 release is today.

@SkylineGTRFreak Man, this looks awesome. If you notice on the link above Trump's new 2017 Beast has a shorter trunk area. Nonetheless, I'm pumped about this one. Any idea when you'll 'unleash the beast'?
