My upload hasn't been approved for no reason

I tried to upload something a day ago but it still hasn't been approved with no explanation: please can someone explain this.

You only uploaded your file 2 hours ago. It's now summer, some staff are on holiday and some are doing exams, so please be patient.

okay well the current one is one i reuploaded because i thought I didn't upload it correctly as the upload i uploaded after that one was approved but the older one wasn't

If you reupload your file it will be sent to the back of the moderation "queue"...moderators tend to approve the files that have been waiting longest first, so please don't delete your files. If there's an issue with your file a moderator will leave a comment on it, before it's approved, so you can see what problems there are and action it.
