weird bug
-
I have the weirdest bug right now and its when I use the horn on any car it revs my engine and I have no idea why its happening or what started it. any ideas or theories will be greatly appreciated.
mods I have installed currently:
GTAV REDUX
Siren mastery
police station armory
world of variety
a couple hundred addon cars
and some texture mods
-
Something you can do, is think how long it has been hapenning.
For example, it started three days ago, so go and check the scripts mods you installed more than 3 days ago, one by one until it stops revving your car.
-
@JohnnyWolf ill try that thank you.
-
@JohnnyWolf I tried all my script mods and it was still revving.
-
Strange. It happens with all cars right?
-
@JohnnyWolf except for the police cars when I'm using LSPDFR but when I use the horn I get the vanilla cop car horn and the modded one going at the same time. but no revving.
-
@Hades-v-Rekoilz Probably world of variety
-
@Hades-v-Rekoilz Yeah, as bur587 says it sounds a lot like its for world of variety.
-
@JohnnyWolf @bur587 so try and erase any trace of that mod and see what happens? weird that it would do this because its never done this before
-
@Hades-v-Rekoilz Yes, it's very weird, but it happens sometimes with updates and stuff.
-
@JohnnyWolf Since script mods don't seem to be the cause, move the mods folder out of the game installation path and try again. You tried it without world of variety as you've been told, right?
-
@JohnnyWolf @bur587 @Cyron43 UPDATE
it was a graphics mod........
A GRAPHIC MOD. it also caused my game to crash on startup.
now it doesn't do it anymore
-
@Hades-v-Rekoilz if you want to use the graphics mod you can put it back and and go to enblocal.ini and have these settings:
EnableProxyLibrary=true
InitProxyFunctions=false
ProxyLibrary=ReShade64.dlland change d3d9/ dxgi to ReShade64.dll
-
@Hades-v-Rekoilz what exact Mod produces this bug? I am experiencing the same problem.
-
@xiyeon I'm pretty sure it's VisualV, I experienced this bug all of the time and always thought it was something related to Menyoo, but no
The strange thing is that I am actually looking for this to happen to me because the revving glitch isn't like the rev you would typically do (handbrake and accelerate) it's very different.
The car revs much slower with this bug and decelerates much slower as well, like you would do when lifting off the throttle when on the move. To me it sounds much better than the regular revving you can do ingame, you can hear some cars backfire that you wouldn't hear by normally revving them.I'm going to install VisualV right now and will give you guys an update!

nope, I installed VisualV (which was the graphic mod I used when I had this bug) and nothing, so maybe it's something else
-
@AFO28 Wow .. I'm a bit late but I have this bug too, my graphics mod is a combination of VisualV and MVGA
-
Visual V has nothing to do with this. I have it too and didn't experience the same bug. Probably a different thing.
