multiple versions updates !!

if we had old uploaded before site new features and the makes updates after features so we have 2 or 3 version each version update has it own numbers of downloads if we deletes older versions which contain higher numbers of downloads and leave the only new update will it effect the number of downloads i mean it can be reduced after so many downloads
