Far Cry 5 into GTAV
-
A nice improved First Person mod with auto aimed mod and when we want to run. we put out aim and run. AND WE NEED A GUNS FOR HIRE SYSTEM.....like of FC5..where we point out bodyguard to go and asked to shoot, he shoots please if someone can make it, im not only requesting, im working on FC5 map in gtav's blaine county...so we only need scripts..
-
Better just to port the actual FC5 map to GTA 5.
-
@krashadam Actually that would take years
the whole terrain is done by Ubisoft Map editor which has stuff like Painting mountains , Painting grass etc , you would need to model the whole landscape from the scratch and use far cry 5 building models and stuff like that
-
@HeySlickThatsMe Or use a program that rips what models have been loaded while the game is running.
-
@krashadam Oh , yeah you are right , i even forgot those existed lol
-
@krashadam what program can do that ?
-
@Shaezbreizh @krashadam i'm interested too, if it works well enough I might just have to sit down and learn how to do it to get some good maps
-
There are many and many tools, some easy to use and some with ultra advanced CGI knowledge required, but the ones mentioned below may be enough for any game:
Ninja Ripper
3DRipper
Get account to get more tools and ripping Farcry games methodsFor advanced users Farcry files unpackers
And for veteran rippers Hex2Obj
Apart of all, searching will to appears scripts to import/export Dunia models (farcry games engine), usable in Blender, 3dsMax and Cinema 4D.
-
@Rarefacer awesome I thought it might have been ninja ripper
-
@Rarefacer 3D Ripper can get SOME assets, but not a lot of games work(at least PCSX2 emulated games...)
-
@krashadam You are wrong. 3DRipper handles perfectly every DirectX9 games, capable to capture entire enviroments. Also, with a little hack, can works in DirectX10 and 11, enought for Far Cry 4 and 5.
Draws calls in memory can be ripped as coordinates in vertex and pixel shaders format, writable as an array in simple formats like .obj, that is a simple task for 3DRipper.
-
@Rarefacer Like I said "not a lot of games work, at least PCSX2 emulated games."
-
@Rarefacer what is the best between 3d ripper and ninja ?
-
@Shaezbreizh Latest games uses DirectX 10, 11 and some 12 and for them Ninja Ripper is the tool most used, but only can capture model chunks with centered pivots, that means, we can't to catch a scenary, only its components. 3DRipper works with DirectX 6 to 9 games, with the feature to catch the scene in screen in a same model, allowing to rip landscapes.
So, each tool can be used accord to the desired results: Ninja Ripper for characters, props or vehicles and 3Dripper for landscapes or a built scene or also for single models if we delete undesired meshes.
