[VEHICLE] 1994 mustang

  • [VEHICLE] 1994 mustang they made a model recently on gta 4 just need someone to convert it and post it

  • 1994 Mustang? 90's car? Good choice. We need more oldies here.

  • @MORESKITTLEZ That GTA IV mod is locked. It's a Forza model originally though so it can still be converted. If you're willing to donate/commission me for the conversion, send me a PM and we can discuss it.

  • @jspeed i help however i can but i'm not gonna spend more that the game is worth.

  • @MORESKITTLEZ Well the least I can do this for is a $40 donation/commission. It might seem expensive for some people but It's about how much work it will take and how long it will take to make. Modding is extremely time consuming and a lot of people don't understand that when they make requests of modders. This request for example would be about 30 hours of work converted from an older GTA game and 40 hours of work from Forza to GTA V.

  • @MORESKITTLEZ Well unfortunately EVERYBODY charges here. The only thing you can get here that's free is a map converted by our best map author Dekurwinator.

yeah i don't know what else there is to tell you. basically @jspeed's comment above me sort of says all.

See, if Zmodeler3 were free... which it isn't, so the whole attempt at avoiding to pay for mods is utterly impossible. Because you still have to give up 17 some-odd dollars for Zmodeler (vague memory of using the trial version, gotta tell you, ZModeler 3 is not Windows 10 friendly... 'least not for me.)

  • @krashadam If you walk outside in your town/city and ask a stranger to give up 30 hours of their time to do work for free for you the answer is probably going to be no, right? So why should that be any different here? If people are passionate enough about the mods they request they are usually happy to pay a fair price for the work done, keeping in mind that someone working in a fast food restaurant for example is earning maybe 5x more for their work than modders here even though It's arguably easier.

Also you can acquire Zmodeler 3 for free but that's not entirely legal and It's against the rules to give any info on piracy here. It's not hard to find info about that elsewhere online though.

Heeeey, I didn't charge you on the Astro, did I? :D

But basically jspeed is right. Back when San Andreas was a thing, there was a time where nobody would give a damn about requests and just made what they liked, so I think the fact that there are people out there who are willing to do requests for a small amount of money is already a small progress.

As for me, I usually do requests for free if I like the car (getting a donation in the end is still much appreciated though :D ). I kinda like this Ford Mustang, but the problem is that the Forza model has no engine, which means I'd have to spend extra hours working on a proper engine, and that's time I don't have if I'd be doing the request for free.

Oh trust me, I know people have a reason for charging, and I understand it takes precious hours. That's what I meant when I said...

    :P

  • @krashadam That's cool man. If only some more people on this forum understood that then there would be a lot more completed requests instead of the mostly improbable or impossible requests that get posted.

  • @jspeed sorry i just got on to check and this thread really took off. i understand nothing is free but it could be cheap if true fans who wanted to see this car just throw in a little bit of money to make it easy for everyone you know what i mean? i get that it takes hours and im willing to pay $20 but maybe a couple other people could join in on this.

  • I don't think that anyone on here would be able to do that honestly.
