Converting sirens from GTA IV to GTA V?

Hi there,
Trying to convert some sirens from GTA IV to GTA V. I have imported the .wav files from the .ivaud into a vehicles.oac and then imported that into OpenIV. However, when I then play the game, there are no sirens, no bullhorn, nothing.
How can I fix this? Have I done this wrong?
