Peds spawning in garages & stealing vehicles (or working on them)

Either Rockstar changed things, or I installed something that's causing Peds to spawn in my garages (home & apartments) and they're either working on my car or attempting to steal them. Its not a "once in a while" occurrence... Its every single time I got to my Garage in my apartment or their home garage.
Its not earth shattering "I need to fix this" but am curiously wondering what I could have installed to cause this...Any clues?
