[MAP] Remove static non-flyable planes from airport

Is it possible to remove the static planes from the airport? They're ugly as hell and they get in the way.

@glennoconnell in popcycle or something like this i don't remember, you can remove or add vehicules spawning in traffic open the file with notepad++ search the line with the name of the model you want remove and remove it .

This won't work because these planes are props (objects) not vehicles

@glennoconnell Ok I think I've find something will try it in few hours, between not sure it will work since I never try this kind of thing ;P

Should be possible as long as the planes are props, like how a soda can or baseball on the ground is a prop. Then you can get nearby props of a specific name and delete them through scripting.

@glennoconnell Bad news, yes it's possible to remove a part of these plane, the problem is that the lod / and collision part are attached to the airport building, so can't remove only the plane i think ;S

@Shaezbreizh Damn that's annoying. Thanks for checking though! Hopefully someone will find a way to change the collision data easily. I'm sure there was a way to do it in GTA IV.

Anyone have any progress on this? I hate how the Air Adiós paint looks, I wish there was a re-skin for these props at least.

The ones that are not enterable, the props, not real planes

@DarthPungz Yeah I use the mods I linked earlier and they do re-texture the plane props. Not sure which one of them have the re-texture though. Instead of the fake airlines, the prop airplanes now have Lufthansa, American and Spirit Airline textures.

Maybe if you can't remove them, someone can at least replace them by better models... Because right now, they are quite ugly.
