Were Custom Animations Announced?

Hi guys,
I've been scrounging through the internet to see if modders can create custom animations yet, but so far I've been finding old posts that all lead me to believe that it's not possible yet. So, is it a confirmed thing? I apologize If this is a dumb question but I'm not only new to gta5-mods, but to GTA V modding in general.

Animation is a complicated format to begin with. It will take some time.

Get real dudes. Custom animation needs real time motion capture in the first place. How do you think to do that? This video is just one example of motion capture. So you get an idea of what I'm talking about.

@Cyron43 Actually, someone managed to get custom animations in GTA4. There was a Spider-man mod that used the swinging/fighting animations taken from the actual Spider-man game. The animation wasn't as smooth, but that was an example of ported over animations that doesn't require motion capture.
