Single Player Apartments not working



  • I installed the game new, installed all the stuff needed to make it run w/ the new update including getting Menyoo & mpsmuggler.asi...

    So far the only problem I'm having is that the Single Player Apartments aren't showing up nor can I purchase one. I can still enter them via the Open Interiors mod but I can't buy and save the cars in the garages...

    Anyone else have any better luck on getting it working with the new update & new scripthook...?



  • @vendetta1969 Single player apartments by imnotmental hasnt been updated in a long time not to mention you will lose 20-25 fps with just that mod installed. So just dont use it.



  • @Willief23 Ok, sadly I liked that mod...but I guess I'll skip it.

    Are there any other mods I should avoid? I don't do Benny's or the car dealership mods very often as I figured since I have Menyoo its kind of not important for me.

  • @vendetta1969 That was not sound advice there. I and plenty other's use this mod every time we fire up our games. A newly updated scripthook will NOT break a script....if that were the case then all script-based mods would cease to function. Scripthookv just loads asi mods, vdotnet - once loaded - then starts any mods found in your scripts folder. Your scripthookvdotnet log should look like this -

    Your issue is you may have a conflict. I don't use menyoo but isn't there an option that loads MP maps that can be turned on? By default, I believe SPA mod does too. In your scripts folder, access your SPA folder and look at how you have your settings in the settings file - mine looks like this -

    //If you don't want to always Enable MP Maps, you can Turn this off.
    AlwaysEnableMPMaps "False"
    //If you have other mods that already loads MP Maps, your can turn this on.
    NeverEnableMPMaps "True"

    Another thing I do is disable apartments I never intend to use, to eliminate issues with blips on the map, and to take pressure off the game-engine itself. Mine looks like this -

  • @eshenk Thanks, that's a good idea. I never thought about disabling the apartments I don't ever use... I also forgotten about the turning off mp maps...

    However, that being said I'm having multiple mods not working, I think its a scripthookdotnet problem and I need to wait for that to be updated. Not only does SPA not work, but the brand new World of Variety doesn't work. Not to mention, Map Builder, Map Editor, and while my Addon Peds worked for a minute-its now not working.

  • @eshenk Okay between what you said & downloading the new ScriptHookV and ScriptHookDotNet, I now once again have most of the mods I installed working.

    Single Player Apartment appears to be working, its showing up on the map & that's good. I also have AddonPeds, Map Editor and Map Builder loading properly too.

  • For some reason, SPA doesn't fully work for me. The icons appear on the map, I can go to any apartment and enter the buying part but then.... nothing. I press "OK" to buy the apartment or house but it does nothing. Don't purchase the damn house. I've been trying to figure this out for days but I honestly have no idea why it's not working.

    I have everything updated and the mod itself is loading but there's something wrong. I recently found this on SPA log:
