How do I swap out mods?

  • Hi guys,

I've installed a few mods into my copy of GTA, but how do i check if they are installed/working correctly? As I don't think my L.A. Roads, L.A. vegetation, and L.A. Billboards are working!

    Also, how do i swap out/remove a mod that I don't like?

    Cheers

  • @Dunc1n As Your mentioned mods tend to mostly replace texture files, it is utmost logical to just replace them back again with vanilla textures!

  • How do you do that?
I have damned n hancer (with shader) graphics mod, what is the process to swap this one out for another?

Also how do i check if my mods are working correctly?

    Cheers

Get ingame and check whether the textures have changed.

And if you don't like something, just put the original files back. Use the mods folder, that way you'll always keep your vanilla files separated.

  • It's difficult to tell if my textures have been updated, as I don't know what the original vanilla textures look like, due to never playing the game without a graphics enhancer.

How do I know if my L.A. Roads mod is working?

    Cheers

  • @Dunc1n Find official screenshots of the game and go into the same place and compare - it is not that hard, is it? Other way (and more correct) would be to compare textures itself, but first option should be enough for You.

As with such graphic enhancers, You remove ENB+ReShade files and replace other files back (like timecycles).

  • @Dunc1n Check out the screenshots in the L.A. Roads page, and see if they're the same.
