[VEHICLE][WIP] RMS Titanic

    Already you can download my first version of Titanic

  • Very awesome good job. Where is the Ambient Occlusion for the interior of the bridge? Or maybe floor of bridge interior is reflecting sky dome because it does not have roof covering reflection of that surface?

    @KAFAROS love the mod. @SkylineGTRFreak, @Oskar , myself and a few others are also working on a large ship mod. What specifically are the issues with the handling? Our mod sat too high in the water and had, like an 80 mile turn radius. We were able to fix both. I don't know what @SkylineGTRFreak did, but perhaps our handling could be of use. Though I do remember collisions having something to do with it.

    @nathanjamesddg151 Main problem is that my ship starts doing uncontrolled things (starts fly above the water,diving to water,),tomorrow I try to add here gif image with this problem.

    @KAFAROS oh. The ship I'm working on doesn't have that problem.

    @KAFAROS I'm not sure if it will make a difference, but are you using the jetmax as a base for your handling? If not, then what? Like I said, my handling doesn't have that issue, so if you want to try mine, let me know. All you'll need to do is change a few names.

  • @KAFAROS here is my handling.meta file lines i hope this helps your titanic. i think their size should be similar may be yours is a bit bigger than my carrier. test it and let me know please. Good luck

    @KAFAROS yeah... to high and funny stuff starts to happen. But that appears normal.

    Hey I tried your handling,and still don't work correctly :( I don't know what to change in .meta files....



  • @KAFAROS Don't worry. once we understand what is the problem. it can be solved. i think leave vehicles.meta for now. main thing is focus on handling meta. keep experimenting i am doing the same right now. to understand what controls what.

    I did something and now working,but when I changed position of "rudder" and "static_prop" (shown on picture) start doing the same things when I trying to turn left or right.

  • @KAFAROS why is there a small ship inside a really big tub? is the big one a colliosion??? i doubt that. whats the big one?

    I used Tug to replace (this small ship is "bodyshell" of Tug),this big it is "chassis" of Titanic.



  • @KAFAROS oh okay, i understand now. anyways chaning position of rudder will not do much i think. keep experimenting with handling.meta

    Maybe in "handling.meta" there is a coordinates of "rudder" and "static_prop"... ?



  • @KAFAROS i just found out something!!! your propeller is too small. Try increasing it realistically. make it bigger. and make it submereged fully into the water. then see what happens. and keep static prop and rudder together just like on the original ship. just make it way way bigger!

    In ZModeler it's looks bigger,but in OpenIV and GTA its looks normal,how you rescaled your propeller and rudder?
