Getting texture pop-ins.
-
So i've installed GTA 5 Redux along with the car addon + replace pack by Gameplay Review on youtube. My specs are 64GB RAM and GTX 1080 in 2 SLI. And please don't complain about me using Redux or a mod pack. I've read that this may be caused by using too many mods that replace or add ingame stuff. Any idea how to solve this?

@enjoythekilling said in Getting texture pop-ins.:
please don't complain about me using Redux or a mod pack
In which case, then please don't come complaining about texture pop-ins caused by said mods

@ReNNie That's not a helpful answer. Please only contribute with something that's helpful or just don't post. I didn't have this issue on my GTX 1060 PC with 32GB of RAM. Could it be because of SLI?

@enjoythekilling Here's a helpful answer, then:
UNINSTALL REDUX
It's comprised of mods stolen from good authors (who happen to upload on this site.)
Plus Redux is known for never working properly.

@enjoythekilling
hmmm SLI could be a culprit
Maybe Google can shed light on this
-
@ReNNie I'll try and disable it. Thanks
Also sorry if i sounded harsh. That was not my intention.

possible solution: lock your framerate to 60 via enb or game's settings
-
@ReNNie Great! I'll try that. Thanks
-
try this in enblocal.ini and/or force V-sync in settings.xml
[Force VSync 30fps]
ForceVSync=true
VSyncSkipNumFrames=1
EnableFPSLimit=true
FPSLimit=29.977and/or don't skip frames and/or set limit to 60

@ReNNie Thanks
-
no clue if this does something for this issue
but worth exploring
-
@enjoythekilling ?? interested in how it worked out...

@ReNNie Heh heh, doesn't look to me like this person has time to reply. SURPRISE!!!
