Addon Taxis not useable



  • How do you add taxis to the game. I have add so extra taxis to the game. but when i try to use them as a taxi they do not work. Only the normal taxis work as a taxi. how do you make the addon ones work the same as the normal ones. Is the some file i have to edit to do this. I have checked in the dispatch.meta file but taxis where not listed. if anyone knows how to do this please let me know

    look in the bottom section of the <VehGroups> part in your popgroups.ymt
    that's where you insert the spawn names for your add-on taxi's to make them function

    Oh? Don't they work as a taxi when added to the TAXI group in the vehgroups section of popgroups.ymt then? @skelepap

  • I have them set in the taxi vehicle group. However when you try to hail them nothing happens. Also when you call the cab company the only ones that show up are the normal ones. Is there somthing I am missing.

    @Ned228 I've added taxi3 and polarataxi to the TAXI group and the TRANSPORT group. But in all honesty never tried hailing one... Gonna test.

    Traffic is unrelated with them being called. They will only drive around. It's not possible to make them work as normal taxis because the native scripts are compatible only with original taxi slot.

    you are very much correct there ... taxi3 and polarataxi can not be hailed :(

  • Taxis are stored in scripts via .ysc
