Open IV download (not connecting/working with GTA 5)

I have downloaded GTA 5 through Steam and also downloaded Open IV. I then ran Open IV and entered the destination path to GTA 5 in my folders. If I run Open IV it shows downloads i.e. Menyoo yet when I run GTA 5 and press F8 to open Menyoo, It will not open the menu instead it tries to put me into GTA Online. Anyone know how to get Open IV to actually connect to GTA 5 so I can get these mods to run properly?
