Tips for getting good chrome + black trim in Zmodeler?



  • So I'm currently generating new UV mapping from 'vehicle_generic_detail2' everytime I want chrome or black trim. Moving my selection around the canvas and hoping it turns out right in-game. I end up having to go back and forth between game and zmodeler 100 times to test to see if the material looks right. Sometimes the shades of black trim don't match up, chrome looks glitchy etc.

    Anyone have a better way of doing this? Maybe a Chrome material and black trim material? Any tips or advice would be useful because I find this to be the biggest pain when modding...
