Trying to install single mod VisualV / naturalvision with openIV and yet corrupted game data

Hi.
I am using steam GTA 5. Runs fine no problems. I have no other mods. I use OpenIV.. package installer.. It installs fine. I start gta 5 yet I get corrupted game.. then I have to verifiy game install and it works fine again
The heck. I mean one of them was updated oct 2017...
what's wrong?...

@rixdare You should always make a backup or use mods folder which is really safe because you won't end up in reinstalling the game.
