How do I change the outfit?

I've been searching for a few days now and couldn't find a tutorial on how to change the outfit of the model I'm using with Addon Peds. I can see the ydd file has multiple textures inside, but no way to load them in the game. Most of the models I've downloaded, don't have any instructions included either.
I'm using this model and I get the default white shorts and yellow blouse outfit, but trying to get the jeans outfit.
Could someone please point me to the right direction?

I think you're going about this the wrong way. Addonpeds is just that: an addon DLC for peds. If you want to dress up your peds (we all do), use Menyoo to spawn the ped models you want, create an outfit for them, and save those to the Outfits section ('Outfits' in Menyoo include the ped itself, btw).
It is not impossible to edit the raw ped models and their attributes (like clothes); and I have done this on occasion, to spawn replace-peds with certain outfits, but it's an extremely convoluted, tricky process. If you don't absolutely have to, just don't.

@meimeiriver Thanks for the reply. I'll definitely look into Menyoo. However, I see all these Mai Shiranui retextures here, modder just says replace the dds in the ytd. I'm curious to know how this is done, because I've tried this once by making a copy of the original Mai, replaced the dds image in the ytd and got a glitchy model in the game.

One of the problems with this modder is, that he doesn't describe the process well. For one, most egregiously, because he isn't talking about your Addon Peds at all, but wants you to replace the game's default a_f_y_tourist_01 with Mai. Which is a whole different ballgame. In fact, I tried out one of his Mai bikini mods, I think, and the game crashed on my modded (copy of) Mail horrendeously. So, unless you're trying this out on the replaced a_f_y_tourist_01 model, expect these mods to be highly unreliable.

Actually, both my a_f_y_tourist_01/02 are versions of Momiji.Replacing game peds is generally not a very good idea, though (for one, they spawn with random clothes/body attributes, so they can often appear to be missing body parts, if the creator didn't accommodate for only-valid entries), but can sometimes be good, as some peds (I think the Beverly Hills ones) have better animations, like you can see their chest move when they're breathing and such).
So, stick with the a_f_y_tourist_01 method, and follow the instructions outlined by Hnagy78, at Underwear for Mai Shiranui 1.0, and you should be good.

I've managed to get 2 variations of Mai added. Guess that'll have to be enough.
