I would love this. But I would also love to see the Watch Dogs 1 map converted since I am from Chicago.

@Yukinono I can only agree that the decision of rockstar/takeTwo of removing SF ( and LV )from the map was a big mess and just fuck up SA as all the fan knew it
( I think it's one of Rockstar/takeTwo decision I hate the much) but I guess they do it to do more money doing one game for SF and one for LV ( maybe as addon of GtaV idk)And well, money is something that make people turn into shark ( just look how gta is turning
).
That why it would be a really really really really BAD IDEA to envisage doing WD 2 map wich is too recent.
You can be sure at 200% that the WD2 devs will take action against a such mod made for one of their biggest rival in this kind of game wich I could understand sure.

Oh man it would be so awesome if someone somehow had the patience to convert the whole map cause that will take months to covert. The freeways on the map are super long

watch dogs 2 because game wont work on core 2 duo but yeah i can try maps from sleeping dogs in gta 5
i wish i was work on watch dogs 2 map in gta 5 we need more than one city in gta5
like liberty city vice city los santos las venturas and of course san fiero san franciscoanyway

No one will do this because it would be too hard
Nobody even cracked watch dogs map formats

@Shaezbreizh There's always porting Driver 3 maps and the DPL map (Driv3r's dated 2004 and DPL is dated 2006, they're old asf and the old devs are gone.), they're not bad quality, they just need some touchups.

@Hasan_Nokic ninja ripper doesn't work with the game unless you use some shady crack (however haven't tested cracked version) same story with reshade (won't work on retail version) watch dogs 2 has many checks and anti cheat which checks for anything like that and: 1.does nothing (doesn't load any of those) 2.crashes the game

No problem , i can agree though that it would look awesome
if you would do the classic way then you would need to go through more things which are:
*Generate a filelist
*Understand the map formats (Batch mesh entities , world loading units - Done , Lightprobes and more)
*Convert all models
*Convert Materials - 42k+ files
*Convert textures
(Whole models and textures folder is 19gb) this includes weapons vehicles and characters , should be less without those

if you want san francisco, i think it would be much easier to port american truck simulator SF map

@HeySlickThatsMe WD2 Map files decrypt is done, shaders decompile is done, world assets extensions research is done, procedural system decrypt is done, tool for world assets assemble is in process for 2K18 spring (aprox).

@HeySlickThatsMe Just few research about formats and getting geometries, more veteran guys are working on this looking for WD games plenty moddable, let's to see what happens.
