Replaced cars wont show in game

Hey guys, so when i replace some cars like the police cruiser (3) it shows as the default model in game. For example I downloaded a Ford Taurus interceptor but im still getting the old cop car

i think that happens because of the patchday variation, what works for me when im replacing cars is to replace them in patchday 10, just put the files there and that works fine for me, there you can replace any patchday car, try it.
