How long does it ,on average, take for a mod to be approved?

I've heard that it may take a few hours and I heard someone saying he uploaded his mod about a month ago but he says it's still "Pending Approval" for him does that mean it's rejected or the mods haven't got around to approving it?

Contact a moderator if it isn't approved after a while, or use that thread there that's pinned. It shouldn't take longer than hours. Also possible is that the mod lacks some info, a moderator usually leaves a comment on how to fix things.
