[VEHICLE][WIP] 2016 Audi S1

Glad Assetto Corsa included this car as part of DLC, especially since I can convert it to GTA.
Been working on assigning materials and splitting/attaching parts so far. Tomorrow I'll probably work on dummies and hierarchy and some other tweaks like giving it US plates.

I've got it all collision-ed, dummied, mapped and everything but it crashes the game on spawn. No error message, just the "has stopped working" box. It's not a file size issue because it's only 3MB.
Anyone know any possible reasons for a crash on spawn?

@TheAdmiester Have this problem with Add-on or replace ?

@MrTuning2001 Addon, but I used the same method as I did with my S8 and S600 and those worked fine in testing.

@TheAdmiester Do you have other Add-On cars installed ? If so , try to remove them and then try this

@MrTuning2001 I can 100% guarantee you it's not another addon car causing it. Every other car spawns perfectly, even the other ones I've made. This car crashes the game, and it's the first car that isn't just a GTA convert from me. That's not a coincidence; I've done something wrong somewhere and just need to know what.

@TheAdmiester try to rename all the "GEO_" to misc_letter

Why "exhaust" is filled with LOD ?. Rename it to misc_letter too, and place the dummies "exhaust" _2 _3 and _4 in
Dummies are good, we can see the boot bonnet and doors are using a capsule ones. No problem here i think.

Try replacing a standard car, see if it works. If yes, most likely a .meta error, if not, model error.

@baba0rum That's "exhausts", it's not a dummy (you can see I have exhaust and exhaust_2) but an actual 3D model of the car's exhausts. I kept it separate so I can use it as engineblock at some point, but I should probably rename it to misc for now at least.

It's better to name parts as misc_x (misc_a / misc_b ... misc_z) instead of using names like geo_blabla , exhausts. .. etc , you still can use them in engineblock don't worry, and put exhaust and exhaust2 in misc_x dummy

@SkylineGTRFreak Just replaced the Blista (which is what I based it on anyway) and it still crashes with the same error. Definitely a model error it seems. I just wish there was more descriptive information on what it couldn't load.

As you can tell by the overly shiny parts there's a lot of material work to be done, but it's progress.

@ChOcOsKiZo I don't know what specifically made it work but I can list the things he told me:
- Some things in the hierarchy didn't have a "Default" compound mode and were missing dummies
- Some materials were using a "Generic" material as opposed to "Vehicle generic"
- I was exporting with my main scene node as "s1_hi" instead of "s1" so it wasn't exporting every LOD for the low model
- Some textures were a weird .dds format, I used DXTBmp to re-save them so that OpenIV would accept them
Hopefully those help for anyone having similar issues.
The main strange problem I have now is that the exterior camera is far too high, dunno if it's something that's misplaced or what, I'm just using the Blista .meta details.

you can try to use meta from another small car to test , or simply replace another car till you find one that please you
