When i download a mod it isnt in english HELP

When I try to download something it doesnt download the file it downloads and it opens up in notepad and its not in english i dont know what is going on please help

@DesolateAnarchy Well the simple explanation is, the author wrote it in his native language, which quite obviously is not English.

What you've done between :
- Open rar/zip file and open readme file
- Open directly file
Because ALL MODS is compressed in archive file.
