WTF!?

I'm less looking for help than I am anyone who can shed some light on why this would even happen. I was using menyoo, and I got to thinking "I wonder if I could record some really cool hawk shit" so, like an Animorph I turned into a hawk and started flying around. I got the message "Please Note: recordings made at this time will not be configurable in the Rockstar Editor" So I tried again, and again, and again. So eventually I just thought okay, you're not really supposed to be a bird, maybe... even though you can do it in planes, it's disabled when you're flying... as a bird. Then I changed into a crow... no message. I go into the editor... look at that - editable. WHAT!? WHY!? I don't get it. It's weird, no?
