? - Is it possible to start using mods now?

Hello,
I have been visiting the site and the forumfpr a while. I have always wanted to install car and plane vehicle mods but I was waiting to finish the game. I finally completed it last week. But I have noticed that a number of people are saying that there are problems with script hook after the last game update? Are mods broken at the moment? I would really like try out some aircraft and car mods. I appreciate any tips on how I can get started. Thank you for your time and assistance.

Follow the tutorial @Frazzlee sended ^ And download the latest version of scripthook and you are good to go.

Thank you for taking the time to post and provide me with such great feedback. My GTA V is also a Steam purchase. I wasn't sure what trainer to use, I will follow your advice and use Simpletrainer by sjaak.

Update: I installed OpenIV, Scripthook, and Native trainer and was able to play around a bit. Pretty amazing! I also downloaded the GTR addon car but don't know how to use Native trainer to spawn a car by name. Is it even possible to spawn a vehicle by typing the name with Native trainer?

Thank you guys. I'll try to get some time this afternoon to figure out how to install and use another trainer.

Just a bit of an update. I am now using Simple trainer and have added a few vehicles. I got the GT-R and the McLaren P1, the SR-71and the military helicopter pack.
A big tank you to @SkylineGTRFreak , @YCA-y97y , @[YCA]Aige , and @PANICO-TOTAL for the wonderful models and packaging of the contents and install notes.
