Base game Car Mods Help

I am not sure is this is the right place for this post or if there is a better forum for the question but I am trying to start modding GTA 5 more indepthly. I want to modify one of the base cars in the game and add some different headlights and maybe some different tail lights. A good example of the headlights would be something like this https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/bmw-1m and taillights like the newer Cavalcade. If anyone knows of a good tutorial on this or a better place for this question the help would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone knows how to make a base game car an addon aswell that would be something I would like to learn how to do aswell
