Vintage car list

Hey guys there were so many amazing vintage cars made for gta 4 and san andreas but there are barely any of those available for this amazing game. Check out this thread which I stumbled upon browsing for vintage cars for gta 5, Wish to see such beautiful rides for gta 5. I believe I'm not the only one who would be wanting this. Many players would definitely want these beauties.

Seriously?? Nobody??

@mzaliac14 grow some patience, people are either living lives or are busy working on other mods. (boy this sounded a little sassy)
-
@krashadam Well to be honest none of the post I ever create here gets any replies. 10 days though but none reply. Though so many views
-
@mzaliac14 Well if you haven't noticed, the only interest vehicle modders here seem to have (in cars) are mostly these: https://www.gta5-mods.com/ (as of making this post it consisted of modern cars, even the Vehicles tab contains mostly the same thing (not including 11john's awesome as fuck Declasse Merit Classic, or any other vintage car mod.)
My point is the consistency of modern cars, and the fact that a fair majority of them are overrated and done so many times over. How many Mercedes of the same damn model do we have now?
It's honestly kinda what chased me away from the site. Lack of originality, creativity... it's just same boring ugly asf modern cars again and again, and sometimes I find the same car gets ported twice or even 4 times by 4 different people.
I'm sorry if I offended anybody with a taste in modern cars, but you should at least understand why lack of changes pisses me off as much as it does.
MZ, I did nothing but create thread upon thread about creating some 90s shit, and you know what? 1 time, 1 time, my biggest request was seen. I've always wanted a Chevrolet Astro in GTA5, and now, it's been made a thing. (but it's been sitting dead in it's own thread for 4-6 months.)
For what feels like the first time in GTA5 modding, there was change. Name a minivan mod here that's from the 1990s or lower. Yeah, NONE.
Any car you try and search for that's either out of the 80s or 90s will come up with European/Foreign search results for cars (e.g Citroen, Peugot, FIAT, Ford (European branch, not American), Chevy (Brazilian Branch) or even those obscure car companies you've never heard about.
Sometimes even the opposite will occur. You'll do your search for 80s or 90s cars and you'll find yourself going through sports cars and imports that are pre-customized and don't let you change any aspects about them. (a thing this site also consists too much of)
You'll almost never find big classic American land yachts here, besides these:
https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/1957-ford-thunderbird-tuning
A search that contains some 50s cars (specifically 1957)
https://www.gta5-mods.com/search/1957https://www.gta5-mods.com/search/1956 (<remember what I said to you about car consistency - it happens with the 50's cars too. Literally 3 Porches of the same model. Coincidence?
Through this site, mianiamods.ru, a wonderful site (past half the site being written in Russian making it a tad hard to navigate, but I find I can still get around) full of unseen originality and creativity, you will find a 1958 Plymouth Fury (possessed by hell - you'd only get that if you watched Christine.)
http://maniamods.ru/load/cars_for_gta_5/plymouth/plymouth_fury_1958_add_on/801-1-0-4959
http://maniamods.ru/load/cars_for_gta_5/mercury/869 <2 gorgeous Mercuries.
I'll leave you to explore the vehicles yourself and see what they have to offer. There's some fantastic mods you will never find here. (<not shitting on the site just wanted to make that clear)
Hoped this filled for some of the 50's cars you wanted.

@krashadam I know your pain cause as many times I wanted some black female peds to be made and at least put into the ped section to give it more of a diverse and add some variety to the peds but no all I see is tons and tons of super heros and anime hell you rarely see any peds made from scratch anymore hell there are a few peds of movie stars and they not even remotely in any games to be made hell ive been asking for some black female peds for a long long time now almost 3 yrs now but will never see any cause I was told by some racist person before he got banned for racist comments he said no one ever will make any black female peds cause no one likes black people on this site and I was plainly told that by him I can only hope and wish one day I will see a few black female peds on this site.

"cause no one likes black people on this site."
Well if that were the case we'd be seeing such people get banned, but so far, we've all been respectful to each other in this community, so I don't know where the fuck he got that idea...
whatever, the guy's obviously a jackass and you shouldn't give a rat's ass what he thinks.
As for peds, it seems there's a constant reskin of women like Mai Shiranu or whatever her fucking name is. Why so many reskins? what's wrong with 1? And they're probably reuploading the models, too. I wouldn't know because 1, I don't care for those mods. 2, I have no reason to download them. (I don't have GTA5 installed for me to even have a reason to use them so...)
It's very strange.
-
@krashadam You're damn right. Its just the same stupid cars again and again same model nothing else coming up on this site. Like you said even I chose maniamods over this website they have good content so many classics i found on that website but none here. I doubt anyone will respond for any vintage cars. Ask them to make a new 2018 Mercedes S class again everyone is up for it but any classics or heavy vehicles, boom. none. GTA SA had amazing mods made from the classics to the modern world. That game received one heck of mod. I was a fan of gtaclassic website to download those vintage for that game. But not a single one of those rides available for this beautiful game. Just stupid fighter planes again and again same old Ferrari's Lambo's Mercs and the same cars being made over and over again by different authors. How many Mercs are there of same model? How many Aventadors? damn wish modders respected the vintage cars as well.
-
@mzaliac14 What you said is really right, this site lack many old cars, bunch of them I see it was heavily tuned. One of way to get cars is to paid for some modders like Lazlow555 and FoxtrotDelta etc. But no, many people paid to them just around ugly asf modern cars and hybrid cars. I watched many old American Films there are many American Classics I can see from, but people just always know modern American Cars. None of single beautiful classical cars recently. Just stupid vanilla car edits again, and people hold loudly as Vanillaworks as best, just because Vanillaworks cars it gets all the respects? And again same cars just by different author. How many Mercedes was here is same ugly asf W222 model? How many Aventadors and Huracans while no one cared 350 GT, Espada, Urraco? Wish modders could get creavitity back and make different things which we didn't had, also some models of cars could they can do older versions, take a example for Ford Expedition, make a 1997 one, instead of one guy I see which has no taste in cars that requested a 2018 one.
-
@P677112 we can only wish but none gonna do it. I was more interested in cars from 30's -60's especially the cads, deusenberg's, cord, Hudson, Buick..but no... The modders are busy making the same old Merc and Ferrari and Lambo..same vehicle again and again with just a different year variant

There are actually multiple logical reasons for the relative lack of vintage car mods on this site.
For one, the vast majority of car mods on the site are converted from other games - most of which are newer racing games with mostly modern cars (Forza,NFS etc). The reason for that is that most GTA vehicle modders are not 3D modelers, they convert pre-existing models to GTA. Building a high quality car model from scratch and converting it to GTA is a task that would likely take around 100 hours or more even for someone experienced in both 3D modeling and GTA modding and not many modders will devote that amount of time to one mod.
Also for the most part, more users on this site seem to be interested in modern car mods than vintage ones anyway and that likely includes modders too and influences their choices when making new mods.
In summary, you will find vintage car mods here but in much fewer numbers than modern car mods. If you're serious about having specific mods you should consider modding them in yourself or hiring someone to develop those mods for you. Otherwise It's just a matter of time and luck to see if they appear on this site or elsewhere.

It still doesn't hurt to have a little fresh creativity for once... not saying the car mods we already have are bad but this is like playing Saints Row: GOOH and walking around the city with the same lifeless pedestrians with you (the player, your character choice being either Johnny Gat or Kinzie Kensington) being the only unique pedestrian in the whole city.
For one, the vast majority of car mods on the site are converted from other games - most of which are newer racing games with mostly modern cars (Forza,NFS etc)
And yet nobody's ported the vintage cars existent within Forza (e.g the 1964 Chevy Impala from Forza Horizon 2 (I've only played the one and it's fucking boring). Hell, we've not even tried porting cars from LA Noire. (LA Noire: VR Cases has higher quality car interiors so it's a good place to go for porting HD vintage cars.
But nah, Forza and NFS are highly respected games so we need to port the same stuff from the same shitty game non-stop and lack in variety and creativity. Tell me, how many Mercedes AMGs of the same exact model do we have, now? Don't you think it's time to change the diaper already?

That's funny that you say people should consider modding them in themselves or hiring someone to develop those mods for you, because a lot of times, the only reason anybody would be making a request in the Requests category here on the forum is because they don't have the power to mod it in themselves or can't find anybody who'll take requests without charging. I mean I understand that people need to make money and pay rent and so on, but this is what nearly killed GTA5 modding - We're essentially stealing from Rockstar just by asking people to donate in return for a car mod or to buy a mod in general (what JulioNB decided to take on). People come here and they pay for mods instead of paying for the DLC, this is what Rockstar reacted to and this is why Take-Two took action the way they did.
Would you support somebody else making money off your work? I don't think so. Yeah yeah, "Rockstar stated themselves that they're fine with Single Player mods--" bullshit they are. It had nothing to do with anybody cheating online and the lawsuit against OpenIV for Online Modding actually did nothing considering people were still modding GTAO even when OpenIV shut down and came back. What difference did they make?
I mean maybe if people weren't treating modding GTA5 like it was a full time job I'd say Take-Two or Rockstar wouldn't have sued the OpenIV team. I said this before but nobody seem to have given a shit, so I gave up trying to get people to think about why Rockstar (or Take-Two) did what they did.
Building a high quality car model from scratch and converting it to GTA is a task that would likely take around 100 hours or more even for someone experienced in both 3D modeling and GTA modding---
Stop right there. None of us had said anything about modeling from scratch. @mzaliac14 even linked to a set of cars that someone could easily port to GTA5 (had they not been GTAIV models which are always locked...)
Building a high quality car model from scratch and converting it to GTA is a task that would likely take around 100 hours or more even for someone experienced in both 3D modeling and GTA modding and not many modders will devote that amount of time to one mod.
They don't have a problem spending 100 hours porting the same luxury motorcars over and over again.
Honestly, I don't think it's any of this at all. I think that people just aren't creative and rather pretend they're rich.
Meanwhile I read comments hating on people with some kind of creativity. What the hell even happened to this site? I haven't been on for a month and the first thing I see is hate being sent to people with real creativity and variety, while the same damn Mai Shuranu (or whatever her damned last name is, who cares, really?) reskin gets to run around the site like it's nobody's business.
Also, the comment you made about the influence that such mods get:
Also for the most part, more users on this site seem to be interested in modern car mods than vintage ones anyway and that likely includes modders too and influences their choices when making new mods.
That statement makes modders sound like they're desperate for attention (more users on this site seem to be interested in modern car mods and that likely includes modders too and influences their choices when making new mods.)
So the spamming of the same damn ugly piece of shit tight spaced fucking TIE fighters...
....is all about the attention? Unless I'm not getting what you said correctly then you need to let me know ASAP because from what you said it all sounds like some fishy bullshit tuh me.
With the information I've been handed it almost feels like I should have hit the interstate for GTA4, but honestly this community isn't bad. I've made great reputation here (despite me coming off as a piece of fucking shit upon first joining.) and I've become a respectable member here (my profile statistics proves this easily, my reputation isn't downhill like most other disrespected members are.) so I really don't have very many foes here. So far from what I can tell I'm a respected member in this community like anybody else. There's no forum on the internet that's as decent as this one. I don't think I'll ever leave unless a new set of members fly into the scene and all the old members go and then the new members have some anal-retentive rules then I'd say that'd be a reason to leave, but so far this community hasn't gone AWOL, so I don't need to. I'm actually happy here. People understand my opinions/general statements and I have never felt more welcomed in my life.

@krashadam itotally agree with you 1000000000x% bro that's how I feel about the ped section on this site ive tried and tried and I even offered to pay to have at least a few black girl peds from scratch to be made and all I get is people don't want black girl peds on this site but its ok to reskin and turn the same Chinese girl character into a black girl over and over really is the lamest shit ive seen hell down right disrespectful to the original creator of that female ped mod and I did let him know and that's why he hasn't made anymore for this site as of late cause of that but still I agree with everything you said bro too much of the same shit over and over gets really boring and redundant if you ask me hell down right retarded.

It doesn't hurt at all but if fresh creavitiy means putting in extreme amounts of time to bring a mod into GTA then a lot of modders simply don't have the time or will to do that and will opt for doing something more realistic.
And yet nobody's ported the vintage cars existent within Forza (e.g the 1964 Chevy Impala from Forza Horizon 2 (I've only played the one and it's fucking boring). As I said one of the main reasons for that is that there are simply more people interested in modern car mods than vintage ones and that includes modders. The group of users on this site that actively upload vehicle mods is a fraction of the entire user base and the amount of those modders interested in vintage vehicle mods is an even smaller fraction. There is actually a 1964 Chevy Impala mod converted: https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/chevrolet-impala-1964-ss-hard-top one of the best car mods on the site in my opinion. It's a FM4 model and not an FH2 model. I doubt we'll see a conversion of the FH2 one any time soon since this one is already available.
That's funny that you say people should consider modding them in themselves or hiring someone to develop those mods for you, because a lot of times, the only reason anybody would be making a request in the Requests category here on the forum is because they don't have the power to mod it in themselves or can't find anybody who'll take requests without charging. Well It's true that they might not know how to mod at the time of making a request but It's nothing to do with power because It's a skill that anyone can learn and there are literally thousands of resources out there like youtube videos and tutorials on this forum to help with that learning process.
Well I disagree, I don't think anyone is stealing from Rockstar by modding the single player game. Rockstar and T2 know that people will mod their game and in reality there's nothing they can do about it. They foolishly tried to take legal action against the OpenIV team last year in an attempt to selfishly divert users away from single player back to online. It's obvious that T2 wanted to make even more profit from GTA Online than they already did but they chose a horrendous way to go about it and it resulted in one of the biggest PR fiascos in the history of video games.
Modders here who sell mods, do commissions or take donations for mods are simply benefitting from their own work which is entirely reasonable if you take into account how much time and effort modders put into modding for this game. Plus, a mod, essentially an add-on for the game, is not a part of the retail game itself so they're not actually stealing anything. Also, of course, if anyone decides to buy, hire or donate to a modder then that's entirely of their own accord.
Stop right there. None of us had said anything about modeling from scratch. @mzaliac14 even linked to a set of cars that someone could easily port to GTA5 (had they not been GTAIV models which are always locked...)
No but there are only two options. Converting a pre existing 3D car model to the game or building a new one. He did indeed but those locked models aren't very useful for any of us so It was a bit pointless to post them in the first place.
That's because most of those luxury car models as I said come from games like Forza and NFS and they don't take 100 hours to port, more like 40-50 hours (I speak from experience here). It's an easier option so unsurprisingly a lot modders are happier to do that.
Well, creativity is subjective. Whereas you are clearly a fan of vintage cars more than modern, there are obviously plenty of users here that prefer modern cars over vintage ones and there's nothing wrong with that. It's just personal preference.
I've witnessed those sort of comments myself on this site and it is very sad to see. Unfortunately there is a certain group of users here who don't seem to have anything constructive or pleasant to say about anything. It's not something specific to this site though since you can find trolls and idiotic comments in any online community. It's down to the moderators of the site to keep things clean and sensible.
While I think Desperate is a bit too strong of a word to describe them, I definitely agree that the idea of attention grabbing applies to some modders here. There's nothing inherently wrong with that though. After all the site is all about about sharing mods and if a modder didn't want any attention, praise or downloads for their mod then there would be no point even uploading it in the first place. Of course there are a lot of mods for this game that stay private and never reach sites such as this one for various reasons, that's just the nature of modding; some modders are happy to share, some aren't.
Some want attention for their mods and some don't.With the information I've been handed it almost feels like I should have hit the interstate for GTA4, but honestly this community isn't bad. I've made great reputation here (despite me coming off as a piece of fucking shit upon first joining.) and I've become a respectable member here (my profile statistics proves this easily, my reputation isn't downhill like most other disrespected members are.) so I really don't have very many foes here. Well GTA 4 does have a massive back catalog of mods available and it is definitely a great game for modding. Of course It's an older game so the community has dwindled and a lot of former GTA 4 modders like myself have moved on to modding GTA V or have disappeared. There is still a sizable community there though, especially for role playing.
I agree that the community isn't bad, It's just that since the site is open to all, there are always going to be a few idiots trying to spoil things. The admins and moderators do a good job of keeping things running smoothly here though. I admire your dedication to the forum as well so good on you for that.

Completely agree with u brother. What i feel bad about is San Andreas had a complete website dedicated to vintage cars gtaclassics.com. just couple of those cars are available for this game. And for more detailed vintage if you play mafia 1 you might know there is real car facing mod. Especially they latest one has amazing details. Modders could discuss within the community n port those to gta but no. Recently YCA released 2 Ferraris which are already there. Why? Just cos it's YCA model it gets all the respect? Abdulla made amazing Ferrari California yet people on this website hold YCA as the best. No doubt they make good models but degrading another one who makes amazing vehicles that's bad. Not a single vehicle mod of abdulla is bad he got amazing details n made some very different vehicles. Wish modders got their creativity back rather than make the same models again n again
-
@mzaliac14 they do the same shit with Saints Row and GTA.
Saints Row was a GTA that Rockstar never went towards (except for San Andreas but realistically I mean)
Saints Row 1 and 2 was like the HD San Andreas. What kind of reviews did it get? "it's a shitty GTA clone" again and again and even to this day it still receives this respect.
Now people just look at this game (Saints Row 1 and 2), don't even know what the fuck it's titled, and label it as shit, rather than actually play it.
I fucking fell in love with Saints Row 2 when I was 11-12 years old playing it. Every car in the game I recognized for being a real life car. For example, the Zircon was a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta. I loved that car, that was my most favorite ride in the whole game. I'd drive other ones but that car can fucking FLY through traffic and slide on every corner, and I loved every moment of it!
Hell, even the entire city of Stilwater takes me right back to my hometown, it feels like home, looks like home. Even the pedestrians are unique, GTA just spams the same fucking characters again with the same "fuck me in the ass" statements when something NORMAL goes on. At least when I burnout in Saints Row people come around and cheer me on while in GTA they're all like "holy shit run!" or some fucking thing I remember. I still love GTA but Saints Row had better vehicles. It's sad that GTA never got similar cars. Hell, nobody wants to fucking port cars from Saints Row because everytime I ask I get this from 1 particular user every damn time:
Saints Row cars are not high enough quality.
"You can always remodel their interiors", I responded.
That would take too long.
But doesn't just porting them already take long enough???

Bumping this
