Optional liveries

While liveries on cars can be cool, it's always a little irritating to see them spawn in traffic. This made me wonder if it was possible to have liveries as an option like some of the new dlc stunt cars. Any way I could do this?

You would have to remake car mod and make liveries as tuning parts like in the latest patches cars

@ChOcOsKiZo Talking about tuning part livery, checked both tropos and sabregt way of livery tuning. I still havent managed to get one working, original sabregt or my car. I made sure to use an original yft of the livery to edit the texture and it show nothing. Know what's wrong there ?

Haven't tried yet , i looked in brioso model to see how it works , car is uv mapped and tuning part is blank , i'm working on a old fiat 500 and need livery as tuning part too
Maybe need to take a look at carcols too , vmt_livery needs to be renamed too , should contact @MrGTAmodsgerman as he got it to work on his impala 64

@ChOcOsKiZo Yep, paint4 and the blank texture on the car itself, paint4 and the details2 texture (which actualy work in zmodeler) vmt livery too i copy pasted it. i'll take a look on the impala

@ChOcOsKiZo Got the livery to correctly show at benny's. Was a problem uv the UV#2 that somehow disappear every time i re load the z3d, having to recopy it every single time i open it...
I also embeded the livery in the yft, and made a +hi.yft, but it's working now (it was also working even after i copyed the uv2) so it's one of those thing (i'm sure it's the embeded texture)

To properties window go to vertices , format and change uv channels to 2 , then apply , and it will save uv mapping next save , like for dirtmap
How do embedded texture to yft dude..?

@ChOcOsKiZo Right in the texture browser in zm, you can create a group, just name it like car_liv1.yft (the same name of the lsc part), and put your texture in and use the texture from this group for the part and export.
