Random Crashes, all "clr.dll"
-
Hey everybody, I've tried to do some searching before cluttering up the forums with another "pls help" topic, but it seems like, due to the nature of modding, a "clr.dll" crash is a symptom of a problem, rather than the cause of one.
My mods (stripped to what I think is bare minimum for me to enjoy GTA V)
IVPack
VisualV
RageEuphoria
WorldOfVariety
DispatchOfVariety
Lively World
Open Interiors
Tow Service
LS Traffic
Gang and Turf Mod...And that's cut down over HALF of what I usually try to run.
System specs:
Windows 7 Ultimate
Fx-8350 OCed to 4.6GHz
RX 480
16GB RAM (DDR3)
1TB HDUltimately, what I'd like to know is: what clr.dll is doing, so I can decide for myself what's going on--if it's a bad/outdated mod, or what--I know it's not "too many" mods, I'm not running out of any definable system resource...

The logs don't show any error. Make sure you have the right C++ redistributable installed. You are still on Windows 7.
-
You run an outdated version of GTA V (your version: 1.0.1180.2, actual version: 1.0.1290.1). Your scripthookV version is compatible with your old game version though.
-
What about shvdn2? The current version is 2.10.5 but yours is 2.10.2 which is known to be bugged.
-
Which version of WorldOfVariety have you installed? The actual one utilizes the Doomsday heists DLC and this conflicts with your game version.
-
The Euphoria engine has undergone some changes and RageEuphoria could probably crash the game. Test play without that mod.
-
I also hope you have a legal copy of GTA V. Pirated versions may crash. You really should consider to buy the game and keep everything up to date.

Ultimately, none of that answers my question. But that's fine, I'm pretty sure the problem was FlawlessWidescreen, a 3rd party program that I'm using since the FOV mod is broken.

@FranklinWannabe You didn't say anything about FlawlessWidescreen before and ultimately a missing C++ redistributable is the #1 cause for a clr failure. So I gave you a valid answer. I am sorry I tried to help you. It will never happen again. I promise - ultimately!
