[Tutorial] How to Add Liveries to a Vehicle Without Replacing Other Liveries
-
This is a tutorial I uploaded to YouTube a while ago on how to add liveries to a vehicle without replacing other liveries/the whole vehicle .YTD files, and I thought I'd make a tutorial post about it here.
Note: If there is no vehiclename+hi.ytd file, then ignore that step.

Good tutorial thanks you have inspired me!

@DarthPungz Glad it helped

If there are no liveries, but you want to add one, can you just do so? What name do you have to use for vehicle? Vehicle_[ sign ] _ [ number ]. The one from the ytd file?
-
@irrelevant -Bump- I'm trying to figure this out as well
-
@irrelevant @O4X If nobody answers, then the best piece of advice I can give is to see how a car with liveries is set up and copy how it was set up.
-
@chonkie thanks I tried (well I guess I tried) but it seems it is not that easy or I made some mistakes.
-
@irrelevant you can't add liveries to a vehicle that isn't mapped to have them
-
@Reacon sad but thank you!
-
@Reacon UV Mapping?
-
@Venkey Can you elaborate? Is it possible - without having to use a 3D software / having access to the 3D model, but just 2D textures? How?
-
that's what it's has been called UVMAPPING
UV mapping can be done with using a 3D Software's like as 3D's Max, Zmodeller3 and etc....
