yes old update in game folder and old one with mpassault subfolder added in, into mods folder.
Just literally I only added mpassault folder and dlclist line into 1.42 game version (doomsday). (like any addon instalation ever).
SC version, and it's been crashing.

See, the thing is, there are a great many factors that can contribute to a game crashing. Usually it's a matter of nearly running out of resources, where adding something else is just the final drop. Since we're all modding the sh*t out of our games, the situation can highly differ from install to install.
EDIT: I even customized my own Dilapidated gameconfig (to accommodate for more car- and object space). Not saying that's it, per se, but small changes like that can matter greatly.

@Reacon @meimeiriver What I did was I backed up mpassault and patchday18ng from dlcpacks (don’t know if patchday is actually needed for this) also update.rpf from the newest update.
Then I downgraded to 1.42 using this and it worked just fine.
Then I added mpassault to dlclist in the old update.rpf and it said corrupt game data.
So then I flushed everything and I tried the same with openIV, created a mods folder put old update.rpf and only mpassault and patchday18ng into the dlcpacks folder and installed openIV asi and dinput8. Of course it worked just fine because I haven’t added mpassault to dlclist but when I did the game just crashed.
I tried putting all dlcs into the mods dlcpacks folder, I tried without patchday but the game just kept crashing.
I know Script Hook will be updated in the next couple of days anyway but I’d really like to figure this out because I’m guessing next time It’ll be the same process.
Thank you in advance!EDIT: Although I just realized I own a Steam version too. I will try to do the process on that and get back to you guys with the results if you are still interested.

No, I only have 5 addon DLC's myself. I try and consoldiate as much as possible.

@meimeiriver im using a fresh install, with the doomsday files. it crashes as soon as i add patchday18 and mpassault and add it in the dlclist

@Reacon @meimeiriver @sixteen So I've tried it with the Steam version and it crashes too.
However using Dilapidated's gameconfig solves the problem.
While I was doing that I realized that I forgot to use his gameconfig on the retail version so that's what I'm up to right now.

I tried that gameconfig and some others it's been still crashing. Right now I don't give a shit about 15 dumb cars, just found a gameconfig what gaves me 3x times bigger traffic with 40 fps which is fucking awesome !! I have been playing about 20 fps with traffic off that was horendous, now game is like a dream.You solved it with gameconfig, but i tried all of that and still crashing, so it's really matters many different details.
